Make Plans to Attend Annual Meeting
Gibson EMC’s Annual Meeting
Make your plans now to attend Gibson Electric Membership Corporation’s 76th annual meeting on Thursday, March 22, at South Gibson County High School’s Cafetorium, 1000 Hornet Drive, Medina.
“We have changed the timing of our annual meeting to correspond with the recent adjustment in Gibson EMC’s fiscal year,” says Dan Rodamaker, Gibson EMC President and CEO. “As the result of the bylaw change approved by our membership last August, Gibson EMC’s fiscal year now begins in January and ends in December. Consequently, we are preparing our annual report and holding our annual meeting earlier in the year,” Rodamaker says.
“In addition, your board of trustees also has decided to try holding your annual meeting on a weeknight and scale down the event to contain costs,” he explains. “We still will provide barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs and soft drinks for attendees, give away several door prizes of electric bill credits for the adult members and a child’s door prize for members’ children. Of course, we also will provide a brief report of our business operation and communicate plans for the coming year.”

6:00 PM Registration begins
Free barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs and soft drinks

6:45 PM Door prizes (electric bill credits for adult members and a child’s door prize for members’ children)
7:00 PM Business meeting begins
7:30 PM Business meeting adjourns
