Wind Causes Outage in Three Way, West Medina and South of Humboldt

About 1,000 Gibson Electric Membership Corporation members’ homes and businesses in Three Way, west Medina, and south of Humboldt have experienced an outage tonight.  The outage, caused by strong winds, began at 7:10 PM.  Crews restored power to all but about 180 customers in the Medina area at 7:31 PM.  Crews are continuing work and expect to be able to restore power to the remaining customers within the next hour.  We apologize for any inconvenience the outage has caused.
