Attention: Your Gibson EMC Account Number Has Changed

Your Gibson Electric Membership Corporation account number now includes an extra digit. Due to a new system upgrade on Feb. 18, your new account number will display differently. For example, if your account number on your bill was 123401, your account number is now 1234001.

Following are some tips to ensure an easy transition:

·  If you are calling your local customer service center…
  Please have your new member account number available. This will ensure customer   service representatives are accessing and crediting the correct account.

·  If you currently pay on your account using the Automated Phone System…
  Please take care to enter your new member account number so that payment is applied   to the correct account.

·  If you use online banking with your personal banking institution…
  You will need to update your online banking profile to reflect the new member account number to ensure your payment is applied to the correct account.

·  If you currently pay with an established profile through the Gibson EMC customer portal…
  Log in with your new account number and existing password. Instructions to login can   be found on the portal.

·  If you currently pay on your account using a bank card or credit card…
  Your information will automatically be updated. There will be no need for you to make   any changes.

·  If you currently submit your payment by mail…
  You will need to include the payment stub as usual or note the new member account   number on the “for” line of your check or money order so your payment will be applied   to the correct account.
