Weather-related Outage Restored
About 1,075 Gibson Electric Membership Corporation members’ homes and businesses in Obion County were affected by an outage last night. The outage, which began at 8:39 p.m., was caused by a weather-related equipment problem. Crews were immediately dispatched and service was restored to the Harris and McConnell communities at 9:36 p.m., to the Pierce Station community at 10:37 p.m., and to the South Fulton community at 11 p.m. Most of these communities also experienced momentary outages during the restoration process.
