District 5 Board of Trustees Election

Attention District 5 Members (Starting at and including Bells; west to Kail Creek and north to and including Alamo; north to the Nance Community and Quincy Community; from Alamo east along the Alamo-Gadsden Road to Highway 79 including the Cypress Community and Emerson Road):

Gibson EMC will be holding a District Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Alamo Elementary School cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting is to elect a member from your district to a one-year term on the Gibson EMC Board of Trustees. Wray Pulliam and Karen Utley have been nominated by petition of members in your district.

Please make note of the following:
 

Residential Members:

  • One vote may be cast per membership (even if one membership has multiple meters).

  • Vote must be cast by member of record (person whose name is on account). Individual memberships terminate upon the death of member of record.

  • In the case of joint memberships, only one member of record may vote.

  • Proxy votes are not allowed.

  • Photo ID (or government issued-ID) should be presented.

  • Membership shall not be in suspended status.

If you are a residential member whose marriage, divorce, death of spouse, etc. has not been updated on your Gibson EMC membership records, please visit your Member Service Center at 402 Egg Hill Road, Alamo, prior to March 31 to make these changes. Appropriate documentation may be required (i.e., death certificate or obituary, Power of Attorney form, marriage certificate).

 

Business and Commercial Members:

  • One vote may be cast per membership (even if one membership has multiple meters).

  • Vote must be cast by voting delegate as named by company officials on business letterhead.

  • Proxy votes are not allowed.

  • Photo ID (or government issued-ID) should be presented.

  • Membership shall not be in suspended status.
