Bank Draft

Paying your electric bill by electronic transfer from your bank makes bill paying easier and more convenient. You continue to receive a bill; all you do is adjust your checkbook. The bank draft occurs on the due date of your electric bill.

Bank Draft is offered to all Gibson EMC customers who have a checking/savings account at a bank, credit union or savings and loan that is a member of the Automated Clearinghouse Association.

Electronic processing of your bill requires some set-up time. Continue to pay your electric bill as usual, until you see "TO BE PAID BY DRAFT" printed on your Gibson EMC electric bill.

The form below may be completed and submitted online to change your account to an automatic bank draft for payment. If you prefer, you may print this form and mail it to your local Gibson EMC Customer Service Center. (Click on "About Us" for an address list.)

By submitting this request, I hereby authorize my electric bills to be paid by the above named bank.

I understand that it will not be necessary for Gibson EMC or anyone employed by it to sign such drafts or checks, and I agree that Gibson EMC's rights in respect to each such draft or check shall be the same as if issued and signed personally by me. I further agree that Gibson EMC shall be under no obligation to furnish me with any special advice or notice in writing or otherwise of the presentment or payment of any such draft or check or the charging of the same to my account. This authorization is to remain in effect until revoked by me in writing, and until Gibson EMC actually receives such notice I agree Gibson EMC shall be fully protected in honoring any such draft or check.
